This week we head to Nantucket, an island off the Massachussets coast. Check out our route map in the Aviation section. This is the scenery I have to put up with enroute. |

Ahh the green seas of Nantucket. This the view on approach to Nantucket Airport (ACK). The owner of the Miama Dolphins (an NFL Team) had his personal 737 parked on the ramp, along with about 150 other aircraft including Lear jets, Citations, Twins, Bonanza's, you name it, it was there.
Ahh the cobbled streets of Nantucket. There's two ferries that come here. One takes 2.5 hours and brings the cars, the other takes 1.2 hours and is a jet cat. This is from Cape Cod .. it took me about 1.5 hours from New York City. Gotta love to fly.
Well.. you just can't get away from the Anderson chain of Fine Gift shops can you. Looks like a nice logo for you Mrs SS.
The crowd in the street! Leafy cobblestone streets, lots of yuppie shops with ridiculously expensive crud, but I managed to invest in a little pressie for someone...mmm wonder who that could be.
