Thursday 24 July 1997 1.30PM - 62F A bit chilly.. which is nice. It's also been raining most of the day. Ok so here we have the Washington Monument. This is the reflecting pool where Forrest Gump made his speech and Jenny cam running across the water	You'll have to click on the Photo to get a better look.
	Men in Black takes a hike from now on. If you want to check out their real video Music Clip and movie Preview, you'll have to visit The Gallery. Today we have the Korean War Veterens Monument. This is one of 16 soldiers on Patrol in Korea during the war. It's based on a very famouse photo, much like the Iwo Jima Statue.
Finally in today's DC Special Edition this is the Lincoln Memorial. He freed the slaves from the southerners during one of the most bloody periods in American History when the northern Yankees and the Southerners spent 3 years beating the crap out of each other. This guy is one of the most revered political icons in American History and as you can see the monument is bloody huge.
