Here is one of 3 Gulfstream IV SP model executive aircraft owned by American Express Corporation. This aircraft is ONE WEEK old. The other 2 are no more than 2 months old. They smell like new cars and they are maintainede with absolute pride and skill by the Amex Aviation Department at Stewart Airport, in Newburgh Orange County New York State, about 2 hours drive North of the city. A Sikorsky retractable Helicopter is available for transfers from Manahattan to the Airport.

This is the interior of the Jet's. They are all identical, and come equipped with a sofa, 4 leather VIP seats, a 4 Seat conference table and seating, 2 adjustable desks with IBM Thinkpads, 6 Channel Satellite Phone system with Modem connections for Shiva access, an inflight CNN/Dow Jones Airshow video system, VCR, stereo, Full Galley, toilet, coat lockers and the list goes on. We installed and tested Shiva via SAT Phone, getting a successful email and FTP service capable to 40,000 Ft World Wide.

  AAAAHHHHH!!.. This movie is not for the faint hearted. As a matter of fact it's down right gruesome, scary as Hell and is not at all what you'd expect from the preview. Some great sounds and special effects, but SHEESH.. take a spare pair of Undies and don't sleep alone at night. Ok.. so here I am in the cockpit.. I have never felt my calling as much as I have sitting in this seat. This is what I was born to do.. it's just a damn shame that I will not be able to do it for a long long time.. The basic requirement for a co-pilot's job here at Amex is 1500 hours total time and 1000 hours turbine time. At the current rate of 100 hours per year for me, it would take 10 years to get the experience I need (at least).

The Gulfstream is equipped with the latest avionics package available. EFIS is soon to be incorporated onto a HUD (heads up display) as soon as it is available later this year. Total cost for 3 of these aircraft?? - 70million USD. Thanks for coming.
